Pres. Barack Obama is not a socialist. He is a thoroughgoing statist, perhaps the worst in American history. And with Wilson, FDR, and LBJ, he's got some serious competition. Republicans in Congress lack the leadership to challenge the president's audacious power grabs. More important, they lack any serious philosophical basis for doing so. The acronym RINO is an oxymoron, for the name "Republican" in fact designates someone with a commitment to nothing more than maintaining political power. Something to think about…… FUTURE
Are we Americans as dumb as we appear --- or --- is it that we just do not think? While the Chinese, knowingly and intentionally, export inferior and even toxic products and dangerous toys and goods to be sold in American markets, the media wrings its hands and criticizes the Bush Administration for perceived errors. Yet 70% of Americans believe that the trading privileges afforded to the Chinese should be suspended. Well, duh..why do you need the government to suspend trading privileges? SIMPLY DO IT YOURSELF, AMERICA !!
Simply look on the bottom of every product you buy, and if it says 'Made in China ' or 'PRC' (and that now includes Hong Kong ), simply choose another product, or none at all. You will be amazed at how dependent you are on Chinese products, and you will be equally amazed at what you can do without. Who needs plastic eggs to celebrate Easter? If you must have eggs, use real ones and benefit some American farmer. Easter is just an example, the point is...do not wait for the government to act. Just go ahead and assume control on your own.
THINK ABOUT THIS.....If 200 million Americans refuse to buy just $20 each of Chinese goods, that's a billion dollar trade imbalance resolved in our favor...fast!! The downside? Some American businesses will feel a temporary pinch from having foreign stockpiles of inventory.. Wahhhhhhhhhhhh The solution ?
Let's give them fair warning and send our own message. Most of the people who have been reading about this matter are planning on implementing this on June 4, and continue it until July 4. That is only one month of trading losses, but it will hit the Chinese for 1/12th of the total, or 8%, of their American exports. Then they will at least have to ask themselves if the benefits of their arrogance and lawlessness were worth it.
Remember, June 4 to July 4.. EVEN BETTER. . .. START NOW.
Send this to everybody you know. Show them we are Americans and NOBODY can take us for granted. If we can't live without cheap Chinese goods for one month out of our lives, WE DESERVE WHAT WE GET! Pass it on, America

For several of you, this will be information that you have already received, but for many, it will be new so use in a manner that is appropriate for you.
I'm very proud to announce the formation of Florida FairTax Educational Association Inc. Many states have been given the opportunity by Americans for Fair Taxation, Houston, Tx. to form individual state grassroots membership orgainization and we have chosen to do so.
At the same time, we recognize that to promote FairTax as a meaningful alternative to the current system, we must accomplish three primary goals: 1. Purchase and supply FairTax Educational materials. 2. Participate in events where we can explain the FairTax. 3. Advertise the value of our organization and FairTax where appropriate. As you know, all of this activity has a cost so we needed to consider a plan that would help with the expenditures.
By the way, but equally important, is the fact that we are still an all volunteer organization with no paid personnel and will continue to be so in the future.
A steady flow of funds is the only realistic way of achieving financial stability so we have become a membership driven association. We also very much understand the economic times we live in so the "dues" are small by design. There are over 40,000 individuals within the state that have voiced an interest in the FairTax so we have structured yearly membership at $25 for individuals ($40 for families) and $100 for businesses with a variety of payment options.

Congress is moving closer to a showdown over the largest expansion of government in modern U.S. history -- a bill which would require virtually every single American to buy government-approved health insurance, whether they wanted it or not. And, in the process, that bill would feed all of your most confidential medical data into an enormous database, which could be used to take away your guns.
This is a bit complicated. But here's where we are:
Once a year, the 1974 Budget Act allows Congress to pass a bill -- solely for the purpose of balancing the budget -- and that bill cannot be filibustered in the Senate. Hence, it can be passed with only fifty Democrat votes (plus the vice president), without any Republican support.

Once a year, the 1974 Budget Act allows Congress to pass a bill -- solely for the purpose of balancing the budget -- and that bill cannot be filibustered in the Senate. Hence, it can be passed with only fifty Democrat votes (plus the vice president), without any Republican support.

Treasury's Plan Estimates $361 Billion in Borrowing - WSJ.com

WASHINGTON -- The Treasury Department estimated it would borrow $361 billion in marketable debt in the second quarter, a record for the period and more than double its previous projection.
The latest projection for the current quarter, issued in a Treasury statement Monday, would leave the Treasury with an estimated cash balance of $245 billion on June 30. By borrowing marketable debt, the Treasury in essence issues securities that investors can trade in a secondary market.

Now why it took then that kind of money to spread the word is beyond me since a small handful of people (Water Survivors) have been working their tales off trying to notify people for the last five years. They have been spent years talking to any Congressional seat that would listen to them.
And- as far as notification- My dad got a letter.
Please share this information with everyone! There is at least half a million people who have lived and worked at Camp Lejeune over the last 30 years.

Bottom line.. we've spent several hundred billion dollars in support of an agency...the reason for which not one person who reads this can remember.

It was very simple.. and at the time everybody thought it very appropriate... The 'Department of Energy' was instituted on 8-04-1977 TO LESSEN OUR DEPENDENCE ON FOREIGN OIL. Hey, pretty efficient, huh?????
AND NOW IT'S 2009, 31 YEARS LATER ... AND THE BUDGET FOR THIS NECESSARY DEPARTMENT IS AT $24.2 BILLION A YEAR IT HAS 16,000 FEDERAL EMPLOYEES AND APPROXIMATELY 100,000 CONTRACT EMPLOYEES AND LOOK AT THE JOB IT HAS DONE! THIS IS WHERE YOU SLAP YOUR FOREHEAD AND SAY 'WHAT WAS I THINKING?'

Tax Day is here again, are you done yet?
Going to a Tea Party near you? I AM!
Tomorrow I will drive into town and stand on the courthouse steps with other like-minded Americans. We have a small town here, but small does not mean just a few people will show up. I will be bringing you pictures of what happens in our small town. I know that all over this land there will be hundreds of thousands joining me in their small towns and cities.

This revolution, and yes I believe it is a revolt of the common, usually silent, working people, won't be done by fire, but by peace. Peaceful protest of the people for what our government is doing to us and all the children of this nation. It is appalling and sickening to watch the bold moves of the new administration. It was bad enough to watch the last administration and the one before that and the one before that...and so on.
Somewhere, this country got off track from our idealistic Constitution and Bill Of Rights. From what I have learned it was around the 'New Deal', the years just prior and since then we have been working to pay off debt we should not, as a nation have. Now we are strapped with a 'New, New Deal". (Give us all your money, your kids money and a couple more generations yet to be born and we will take to care of others who we deem needy, and even to the those who are not even a naturalized US citizen, though soon to become so once we give them all amnesty!)
They say no tax hikes for 95%? Well my friends, that is just a blatant lie! It has only been a quarter of a year that this new administration has taken it's place and already I am feeling the pinch of their no tax hikes. Then why have the cigarettes gone up? Why has the gas gone up? Why is my eclectic bill rising to almost double? I can barely stand the thought of going to the grocery store because the prices have nearly doubled in just the last year. I really just want to leave it at the counter, because I have no longer have an appetite to eat. Until we have a Fair Tax, taxing our consumables and not our labor, we shall all be slaves. Consequently, unless and until we outlaw the Unions and Lobbyist, we will always be a slave to them as well.
Twenty billion in earmarks! That is just the earmarks, remember!

Do not get me wrong, it isn't just this administration, it is the whole political game that makes me sick with grief. We, the people need to make our own kind of changes and vote out anyone that who will not defend our Constitution, call out those who trample over it as if it were the town crier's propaganda. Defend your liberties and your labor! Shout out for generations yet to come.
What I see happening as my hours and days slip by just makes me scream, literally! It also makes me scared... which is why I am so angry. I should not be scared in my own free country!
AFTER THE PARTY
Keep fighting, keep writing, get involved and VOTE 2010 to restore our Constitution. Return to us our sovereignty. Return to us our money. Get out of our boardrooms and bedrooms. Get rid of all the traitors who have been there way too long! Investigate, prosecute and jail offenders! VOTE only for the candidate who can pledge to uphold our Constitution as the highest law of the land and really mean it. VOTE only for those would do not wish to see our country live under the rule of the rest of this world. Give us back our great country now!
